Inspections Only
Inspections are charged at a rate of $110 (GST Inclusive) per inspection.
Critical Stage Inspections usually include the below.
Pre-Commencement: Recent legislation requires all Development Consents issued from 1st July 2004 to have a compulsory pre-commencement inspection.
The inspector checks for builder’s signage, erosion sediment controls, on-site toilet facilities, Any Conditions pertaining to the development’s Council issued Development Consent that must be satisfied prior to commencement.
Footings: Reinforcing steel has been installed as per Structural Engineer’s Plans.
Piers: (If required) Piers have been installed as per Structural Engineer’s Plans.
Slab: Slab /Steel has been installed as per Structural Engineer’s Plans.
Stormwater/Drainage: As per drainage plan, Conditions of Consent and/or Australian Standards AS3500.
Frame (Trusses): Timber frame has been constructed in accordance with manufacturer’s details.
Frame (Conventional): Timber members have been spaced correctly, timber sizes and spans connect. Fixing and bracing are satisfactory for the type of dwelling (one or multiple storeys)
Wet Area: As per Australian Standard 3740.
Final: Work completed as per Conditions of Consent and Building Code of Australia.
